  • Morrissey-Compton Educational Center and Parents Helping Parents are launching a series of webinars to provide information to families whose children have (or are suspected of having) learning disabilities and/or ADHD. Our Friday, January 24th "Lunchtime Webinar" is entitled When Should You Consider an Evaluation for Your Child/Student? and will be co-led by John Brentar, Ph.D., Executive Director of Morrissey-Compton and Ashley Koedel, Director of Special Services at Morrissey-Compton. January is an ideal time to think about this and make plans as the second half of the school year begins.

quoted textMorrissey-Compton was there at the right time to support my family and our son. We are fortunate to have such an organization in our community that also extends itself to provide scholarships. Without this additional benefit, we would not have been able to participate in this excellent program."

In response to recent revelations in the news about the ongoing FBI investigation into cheating on college entrance exams and an admissions fraud scheme at some colleges, and the attention it has brought to the public about unfair advantages given to some students applying to college, we would like to make the following statement:

At Morrissey-Compton, our work is based on honesty and trust that we will administer, score, and present testing results in a clear and unbiased manner. We are committed to following the ethical principles established by our respective professional organizations, the American Psychological Association and the Association of Educational Therapists, to treat all students with integrity and in an equitable and respectful manner. We are also dedicated to providing the same quality services to all families, regardless of their ability to afford the cost, through our scholarship program.
